Michael Phelps sells his Celebrity Real Estate

Before gold medal U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps was destined to become the greatest swimmer ever in Rio, he let go of a piece of his real estate portfolio in Baltimore.

Phelps sold the three-bedroom, two-bath townhouse for $960,000 after acquiring it via a corporate entity back in 2012. Curious about other celebrity homes on the market? Access our comprehensive map and list of Los Angles celebrity homes for sale here.

The townhouse offers a variety of amenities suitable to a variety of people other than all-time great swimmers. It includes an open-plan living space, double height ceilings, brick walls, and hardwood floors. Also, a steel wrapped fireplace sits between the living room and the dining room. The kitchen features an island fit for any chef, wielding a concrete countertop and luxury appliances. A two-car garage fits enough space for eight cars and the rooftop sports a bar and views of the surrounding sights and sounds of Baltimore.

Phelps now leads all American Olympians in medals and has since announced his retirement from swimming. He has taken over some of the reigns as the swim coach at Arizona State University where he followed his longtime coach Bob Bowman.

Since becoming a father, Phelps has looked to repair his public image after a DUI arrest in September of 2014.
